Former SEC Chair Mary Jo White Returns to Debevoise

Mary Jo White has returned to Debevoise & Plimpton after serving as the Chair of the SEC from April 2013 to January 2017, the firm recently announced. She will serve as senior chair of the firm and will be based in New York. Andrew J. Ceresney, who served under White as the Director of the Division of Enforcement at the SEC, also recently rejoined the firm. See “Andrew Ceresney Returns to Debevoise & Plimpton” (Feb. 15, 2017).
