Vinson & Elkins Adds Former AUSA to Government Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense Practice

Michael S. Dry has joined the Washington, D.C., office of Vinson & Elkins in its government investigations and white collar criminal defense practice, the firm recently announced. As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Dry led the prosecution of the vice president of a U.S. maritime company on FCPA charges and secured an 87-month prison sentence (the longest FCPA sentence in U.S. history at the time).
